Get LLTTF Support

It can be hard planning to make changes in a sustained way. Ever tried to lose weight, give up a habit or get fit? It's great when things go well, but it's easy to become discouraged and give up when times seem harder of there is a setback.

Evidence shows that getting the right kind of support can make a huge impact on how well people improve when they use sites like LLTTF.

Am I getting the right kind of support?

Support means more than just having someone ask you how things are going. Instead the key is receiving structured, focused support that helps you plan to use and apply the various online and book based resources. If you make and review plans this will help keep you motivated and on track. Also it can help you get extra help if you feel stuck or that things are going backwards.

Who can offer you support

Practitioners such as GPs, PWPs, nurses, voluntary sector workers and others often provide really helpful and structured support. Don't forget to make full use of the weekly support emails from the site and also the site forum.

Not getting structured support?

LLTTF offers two additional ways of helping you contact support workers:

1). Volunteers from the charity Triumph over Phobia - who provide fee-based structured support but not specialist mental health assessment or monitoring.

Note: Triumph over Phobia is an independent charity and is not connected with the Living Life to the Full website, Jubilee Trust, Dr Chris Williams or Five Areas Limited, and therefore none of these parties are responsible, or are to be held liable, for the advice or support given by Triumph over Phobia (TOP-UK). However we are happy to recommend TOP-UK and would hope that you find their site and services beneficial.

2). Private CBT practitioners who provide a fee-based service. These qualified practitioners are independently regulated by their core professional body and offer a more detailed assessment, structured support and other inputs as needed on an individual basis
